1. Introduction to Monopoly

Monopoly is a classic board game of property trading, designed for 2 to 6 players aged 8 and up. It simulates real estate transactions, allowing players to buy, rent, and sell properties with the goal of accumulating wealth and bankrupting opponents. 4. Jokoaren konfigurazioa

  2. Separate the Chance cards and Community Chest cards, shuffle each pile, and place them face down on their designated spaces on the board.
  3. Separate the Title Deed cards by color group and place them next to the board.
  4. Each player chooses a unique token to represent them on the board.
  5. Select one player to be the Banker. The Banker is responsible for all money, houses, and hotels not yet owned by players. The Banker also collects taxes and fines. The Banker may play the game but must keep their personal money separate from the Bank's funds.
  6. The Banker distributes $1500 to each player in the following denominations:

5. Nola jokatu

5.1. Player Turn

On your turn, roll both dice and move your token clockwise around the board the number of spaces indicated. The space you land on determines your action.

  • Jabetzarik gabeko jabetza: If you land on an unowned property (street, railroad, or utility), you may buy it from the Bank for the price printed on that space. If you choose not to buy it, the Banker immediately offers it for auction to the highest bidder.

5.2. Building Houses and Hotels

Once you own all properties in a color group, you can begin building houses. You must build evenly across the properties in that group. Once you have four houses on each property in a color group, you can upgrade to a hotel by replacing the four houses with one hotel.

5.3. Mortgaging Property

If you need money, you can mortgage properties. Mortgaged properties do not collect rent. To unmortgage a property, you must pay the mortgage value plus 10% interest.
