- Piztu: Once plugged in, turn the wattage/mode selector dial to your desired heat setting (1500W or 1300W) or "FAN" for air circulation without heat. The "POWER" indicator light will illuminate.

- Itzali: To turn off the heater, rotate the wattage/mode selector dial to the "OFF" position. Unplug the heater from the wall outlet when not in use for extended periods.
