The Kidde C3010 alarm is designed for easy installation and is suitable for all living areas. The unit automatically activates once securely attached to its mounting bracket. No wiring or complex setup is required due to its sealed lithium battery.

  1. Select an appropriate location for the alarm. Carbon monoxide alarms should be installed on every level of the home, including basements, and near sleeping areas.
  2. Mount the provided bracket to a wall or ceiling using the appropriate hardware (screws, anchors). Ensure the mounting surface is stable.
  3. Attach the C3010 alarm unit to the mounting bracket. The alarm will automatically activate upon proper attachment.
  4. Perform an initial test of the alarm by pressing the Test/Reset button (refer to the Operating section for details).

The Kidde C3010 provides clear visual and audible indicators for its operational status and any detected hazards.

LED adierazleak:

  • LED berdea: Flashes approximately every 30 seconds to indicate the unit is operating properly.
  • LED gorria: Pulses and a loud alarm pattern sounds when a dangerous level of carbon monoxide is detected. The alarm pattern is 4 short beeps, followed by 5 seconds of silence, then 4 short beeps with a corresponding red LED flash. This cycle continues for 4 minutes, then changes to 2 patterns per minute thereafter.
  • Anbarra LED: Flashes every second to indicate the unit is in fault mode.
