2. Konfigurazioa

Before operating your Hessaire MC61M Evaporative Cooler, ensure proper setup:

  1. Despaketatzea: Carefully remove the cooler and all components from the packaging. Verify all parts are present, including the main unit, 4 casters (2 locking, 2 non-locking), and 1 brass garden hose adapter.
  2. Gurpilen instalazioa: Attach the four casters to the bottom of the unit. Two casters are locking and two are non-locking. Ensure they are securely fastened.
  3. Kokalekua: Place the cooler on a flat, stable surface. For optimal performance, especially in dry climates, ensure adequate ventilation by keeping windows or doors open.

3. Funtzionamendu-argibideak

The Hessaire MC61M features simple mechanical controls for ease of use:

  1. Piztu/Itzali: Plug the unit into a standard 115-volt electrical outlet.
  2. Ponpa kontrola: Turn the 'Pump' dial to 'ON' to activate the water pump. This saturates the internal XeL50 cooling media, enabling evaporative cooling. Turn to 'OFF' to stop the pump.
  3. Fan abiadura: Adjust the 'Fan' dial to select your desired airflow speed: 'L' (Low), 'M' (Medium), or 'H' (High).
  4. Air Swing Delivery System: Turn the 'Swing' dial to 'ON' to activate automatic oscillation of the internal louvers, distributing cool air across a wider area. Turn to 'OFF' for stationary airflow.

4. Mantentzea

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your evaporative cooler:

  • Draining the Reservoir: Periodically drain the water reservoir to prevent stagnant water and algae growth. The drain plug is located at the bottom rear of the unit.
  • Cleaning Media Panels: The XeL50 media panels (visible from the back of the unit) should be inspected and cleaned regularly, especially if you notice reduced cooling efficiency or odors. Refer to the full user manual for detailed cleaning instructions.
