1. Wash the glass carafe and removable filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

4. Place the empty filter basket and carafe in position.

6. Discard the water from the carafe. Repeat this process 2-3 times to ensure thorough cleaning.

1. Plug the coffee maker into a standard electrical outlet. The LCD display will flash '12:00'.
2. Sakatu HR button to set the current hour. Hold to advance quickly.
3. Sakatu MIN button to set the current minute. Hold to advance quickly.

Kafea prestatzea

1. Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water to the desired level, indicated by the water level indicator. Do not exceed the 'MAX' line.
2. Place the removable filter basket into its holder.
3. Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the filter basket. A general guideline is one tablespoon of coffee grounds per cup, but adjust to your preference.

5. Place the glass carafe onto the warming plate. Ensure it is properly seated.

Using the Programmable Timer (Delayed Start)

1. First, ensure the current time is set correctly (refer to 'Setting the Clock').
2. Prepare the coffee maker for brewing as described in 'Brewing Coffee' (fill water, add grounds, place carafe).
3. Sakatu PROG button. The display will show 'PROG' and flash '12:00'.
4. Erabili HR eta MIN buttons to set the desired time for the coffee maker to start brewing.
5. Once the desired brew time is set, press the AUTO button. The 'AUTO' indicator light will illuminate.
6. The coffee maker will now automatically start brewing at the programmed time.

Mineral deposits (calcium) can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting its performance and coffee taste. Descale your coffee maker regularly, depending on water hardness and frequency of use (e.g., every 2-4 weeks).

1. Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of white vinegar and cold water (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water).
2. Place an empty filter basket and the carafe in position.
3. Sakatu ON/OFF button to start a brewing cycle. Allow half of the solution to brew through, then turn off the coffee maker and let it soak for at least 15-20 minutes.
