This manual provides essential information for the correct installation, operation, and maintenance of your Faber Ilma X 90 cm built-in cooker hood. Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and retain them for future reference.

1.1 Segurtasun-neurriak

• Ensure the minimum distance between the hob and the lower part of the hood is at least 50 cm.
• The electrical installation must comply with local regulations and be performed by a qualified electrician.

3. Instalazioa

The Faber Ilma X cooker hood is designed for built-in installation within a kitchen cabinet. Proper installation is crucial for safety and optimal performance.

• Ensure the electrical supply meets the appliance requirements (220-240V, 50/60Hz).

3.2 Kanpaia muntatzea

The hood is designed for insert mounting into a cabinet. Follow the detailed instructions provided in the separate installation guide (if applicable) or consult a qualified installer. Ensure all mounting brackets are securely fastened and the hood is level.

4. Funtzionamendu-argibideak

Your Faber Ilma X cooker hood is equipped with user-friendly Squarcle Touch controls for efficient operation.

4.1 Squarcle Touch Controls

The control panel features touch-sensitive buttons for various functions:

• Piztu/Itzali: Sakatu kanpaia piztu edo itzaltzeko.
• Fan abiadura hautatzea: Cycle through 3 normal fan speeds (1, 2, 3) to adjust extraction power based on cooking intensity.

4.2 Steam Off System

The Steam Off System is designed to eliminate condensation. When activated, the hood not only extracts air but also emits controlled air jets. These jets create a swirling effect and accelerate the capture of steam, preventing it from condensing on surfaces around the hood. Activate this feature when cooking generates significant steam.

4.3 Optional Remote Control

An optional remote control (part no. 112.0615.733) is available for convenient remote operation of the hood's functions, including fan speed, lighting, and special features like Steam Off System.

5. Mantentzea

5.1 Koipe-iragazkiak garbitzea

The stainless steel grease filters should be cleaned regularly, typically every 2-4 weeks depending on usage. They are dishwasher-safe:

• Place them in a dishwasher on a low-temperature cycle, or wash them by hand using hot water and a mild detergent.

If your hood is operating in recirculation mode, the optional F21 carbon filter (part no. 112.0506.172) needs to be replaced approximately every 3-6 months, depending on usage. These filters are not washable and must be replaced when saturated.

• Refer to the specific instructions provided with the carbon filter for replacement procedures.

5.3 Kanpoaldea garbitzea

Clean the stainless steel exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for stainless steel. Avoid using abrasive pads or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.

6. Arazoak
