3. Konfigurazioa

3.1 Attaching the Cables

The Westone W60 earphones feature MMCX Audio connectors, allowing for interchangeable cables. Both the High-Definition Silver Audio Cable and the Bluetooth Cable connect in the same manner.

1. Identify the left (L) and right (R) earpieces and cable connectors. The earpieces are marked on their inner surface.
2. Align the MMCX connector on the cable with the receptacle on the earpiece. Ensure the cable is oriented correctly (the cable should exit downwards when worn).
3. Gently push the connector into the receptacle until you feel a secure click. Do not force the connection.
4. To detach, firmly grasp the cable connector (not the cable itself) and pull straight away from the earpiece. Avoid twisting.

Proper ear tip selection is crucial for optimal sound quality and comfort. The W60 includes various sizes of both STAR Silicone and True-Fit Foam tips. Experiment with different sizes and types to find the best seal and fit for your ears.

• True-Fit Foam Tips: Provide superior noise isolation and a custom-like fit. Compress the foam tip before inserting it into your ear, then hold it in place for a few seconds while it expands to create a seal.

To install an ear tip, gently push it onto the nozzle of the earpiece until it is securely seated.

The W60 earphones are designed to be worn with the cable routed over the top of your ear for a secure and comfortable fit, especially during movement.

3.4 Bluetooth Cable Pairing (Optional)

If using the Westone Bluetooth Cable, follow these steps to pair it with your device:

1. Ensure the Bluetooth cable is charged.
2. Press and hold the power button on the Bluetooth cable's remote until the indicator light flashes, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your audio device (smartphone, tablet, computer), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
4. Select "Westone Bluetooth" or a similar name from the list of available devices.
5. Once connected, the indicator light on the Bluetooth cable will change to a steady blue or turn off, depending on the model.

The Bluetooth cable has a range of approximately 10 meters (32 feet) and features an IPX-4 water and dust resistant rating.
