Proper installation is crucial for safe and effective braking. If you are unsure about any step, consult a professional bicycle mechanic.

1. Prestaketa: Ensure your bicycle frame and fork have appropriate mounting holes for nutted caliper brakes. Clean the mounting area thoroughly.
2. Mounting the Calipers:
   • Insert the long mounting bolt of the front caliper through the hole in the fork crown from the front. Secure it with the provided nut from the rear.
   • Insert the shorter mounting bolt of the rear caliper through the hole in the seat stay bridge from the front. Secure it with the provided nut from the rear.
   • Ensure the caliper is centered over the wheel rim.

3. Brake Pad Adjustment:
   • Loosen the brake pad fixing bolt.
   • Position the brake pads so they are centered on the braking surface of the rim and parallel to the rim when the brake is applied.
   • Ensure the pads do not touch the tire or fall below the rim's braking surface.
   • Tighten the brake pad fixing bolt securely.

   • Route the brake cable from your brake lever through the cable housing and into the caliper's cable anchor bolt.
   • Pull the cable taut, ensuring there is minimal slack, and tighten the cable anchor bolt.
   • Trim any excess cable, leaving enough length to attach a cable end cap.

   • Squeeze the brake lever several times to seat the cable and housing.
   • Adjust the barrel adjuster on the brake lever or caliper to achieve the desired lever feel and pad clearance (typically 1-2mm from the rim).
   • Ensure both brake pads contact the rim simultaneously and evenly.
