The sprayer comes largely pre-assembled, but some components require connection before first use.

5. Funtzionamendu-argibideak
Follow these steps for effective and safe operation of your spot sprayer.
5.1 Filling the Tank:
- Ensure the drain port cap is securely closed.
- Remove the main tank cap.
- Carefully pour the desired liquid into the tank. The tank has molded-in volume indicators for easy measurement.

5.2 Spot Spraying:
- Ensure the 12V power is connected and the on/off switch is in the 'OFF' position.
- Un-holster the deluxe spray gun.
- Turn the power switch to 'ON'. The pump will activate.
- Aim the spray gun at the target area.
- Press the trigger to begin spraying.
- Adjust the heavy-duty brass nozzle by twisting it to change the spray pattern from a fine mist to a strong stream, depending on your application needs.
- For longer jobs, engage the trigger lock to reduce hand fatigue.
- When finished spraying, release the trigger (or disengage the lock) and turn the power switch to 'OFF'.

5.3 Pressure Regulation:
The deluxe version of this sprayer includes a pressure regulator valve on the outlet side of the pump. This valve allows liquid to return to the tank, offering control over pump operation and pressure:
- Closed Valve: If the pressure regulator valve is fully closed, all pressure is directed to the spray gun. The pump will cycle on and off as needed to maintain 70 PSI, shutting off when pressure is reached and restarting when pressure drops.
- Balbula irekia: If the pressure regulator valve is opened partially, some liquid is returned to the tank. This allows the pump to run continuously, which can be beneficial for consistent mixing of liquids within the tank and may extend pump life by avoiding frequent stop/start cycles. Adjust the valve to achieve desired continuous flow and pressure.
5.4 Broadcast Spraying (Optional):
This spot sprayer can be converted into a broadcast sprayer. Broadcast boom or boomless kits are sold separately and can be attached to the sprayer to cover wider areas. Refer to the instructions provided with your chosen broadcast kit for installation and operation.
6. Mantentzea

To prevent damage from freezing temperatures, especially to the pump and spray gun, it is crucial to properly winterize your sprayer:
- Completely drain and rinse the tank, pump, hose, and spray gun as described above.
- Ensure all water is expelled from the pump and lines. You may run the pump briefly with the spray gun trigger open to clear residual water.
- Store the entire unit (tank, pump, hose, and spray gun) in a heated garage or a location where temperatures remain above freezing.
