This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your NuMax SFR2190 Pneumatic Framing Nailer and accompanying B&C Eagle Framing Nails. Please read and understand all instructions and safety warnings before using the tool.

3. Konfigurazioa
3.1 Aire-hornidurara konektatzea
- Ensure the air compressor is turned off and the air hose is disconnected from the compressor.
- Apply a few drops of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet of the nailer.
- Connect the air hose to the air inlet on the nailer.
- Connect the other end of the air hose to the air compressor.
- Turn on the air compressor and adjust the air pressure to the recommended operating range of 70-115 PSI (0.5-0.8 MPa). Do not exceed 115 PSI.
3.2 Iltzeak kargatzea
The NuMax SFR2190 uses 21-degree plastic collated full round head framing nails. The included B&C Eagle nails are 2-3/8 inches long with a .113 inch diameter.
- Disconnect the air supply from the nailer before loading nails.
- Pull back the nail pusher until it locks into place at the end of the magazine.
- Insert a strip of 21-degree collated nails into the magazine with the nail heads facing upwards.

3.3 Sakonera doikuntza
The NuMax SFR2190 features a tool-free depth adjustment. To adjust the nail depth, rotate the depth adjustment wheel located near the contact tip. Test the depth on a scrap piece of material before fastening to your workpiece.
3.4 Trigger moduak
The nailer is equipped with a dual-mode trigger, allowing selection between sequential and bump firing:

Always select the appropriate trigger mode for the task to ensure safety and efficiency.

- Hold the nailer firmly with both hands, maintaining a stable stance.

- Engage the trigger according to the selected firing mode (sequential or bump).
- Allow the tool to fully cycle before repositioning for the next nail.
- Avoid firing nails into knots, metal, or excessively hard materials that could cause nail deflection or tool damage.

Apply 1-2 drops of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet of the nailer daily or before each use. This lubricates the internal O-rings and moving parts, preventing wear and ensuring smooth operation.

Keep the tool clean and free of dust, debris, and excess oil. Periodically inspect the magazine and nose area for any build-up that could interfere with nail feeding or firing. Use a clean, dry cloth for wiping down the tool.
5.3 Inspection and Storage
Regularly inspect the nailer for any signs of wear, damage, or loose fasteners. Ensure the air connector is secure. When not in use, disconnect the air supply and store the nailer in a dry, secure location away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6.1 Nail Jams
If a nail jam occurs:
- Immediately disconnect the air supply from the nailer.

- Close the nose latch/magazine and reconnect the air supply. Test the tool on a scrap piece of material.
6.2 Misfires or Inconsistent Firing
If the nailer misfires or fires inconsistently:
- Check the air pressure at the compressor and ensure it is within the recommended 70-115 PSI range.
- Verify that the nails are correctly loaded in the magazine and are the correct type and size for the tool.
- Ensure the tool has been properly oiled as per maintenance instructions.
- Inspect the contact tip for wear or damage.
6.3 Anti-Dry Firing Mechanism
The NuMax SFR2190 is equipped with an anti-dry firing mechanism. This feature prevents the tool from firing when the nail supply is low, protecting internal components from unnecessary wear. If the tool stops firing, check the nail magazine and reload if necessary.
