Konfigurazioa

  1. Jarri joko-taula gainazal lau batean.
  2. Separate the Title Deed cards, Chance cards, and Community Chest cards into their respective piles on the board.
  3. Each player selects a plant-based plastic token to represent them on the board.
  4. Designate one player as the Banker. The Banker is responsible for all money, Title Deeds, Greenhouses, and Utilities not yet owned by players. The Banker also handles all transactions.
  5. The Banker distributes starting money to each player. Refer to the Game Guide for specific starting amounts.
  6. Each player rolls both wooden dice. The player with the highest total starts the game. Play proceeds clockwise.

Funtzionamendua (Jokatzeko modua)

Gameplay in Monopoly: Go Green Edition follows the core rules of Monopoly with environmental adaptations:

  • Mugimendua: Roll the two wooden dice and move your token clockwise around the board the corresponding number of spaces.
  • Propietateak: Land on unowned properties to buy them from the Bank. If you land on an owned property, pay rent to the owner.
  • Greening Up: Instead of traditional houses and hotels, players build wooden greenhouses on their properties to increase rent.
  • Utilitateak: The utilities are now a Wind Farm and a Solar Field. Rent is determined by the dice roll, multiplied by a factor based on how many utilities are owned.
  • Railroads: Railroads are replaced by Bike Paths, offering a sustainable mode of transport.
  • Chance & Community Chest: Draw cards from these piles and follow the instructions, which often include environmentally themed scenarios.
  • Porrota: If a player cannot pay their debts, they declare bankruptcy and are out of the game.
  • Irabazlea: The last player remaining in the game after all others have gone bankrupt is the winner.
