Your SQUIRE CP50S padlock is factory set to open at 0-0-0-0. It is highly recommended to change this combination immediately to a personal, memorable code for enhanced security.

To Set Your New Combination:

1. Ensure the padlock is open and set to the current combination (factory default is 0-0-0-0).
2. Rotate the shackle 90 degrees counter-clockwise from its locked position.
3. Press the shackle down firmly into the padlock body. While holding it down, rotate the shackle another 90 degrees counter-clockwise (total 180 degrees from original locked position).
4. With the shackle held down and rotated, set your desired 4-digit combination by rotating the dials. Choose a combination that is easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess.
5. Once your new combination is set, lift the shackle to release it from the pressed-down position.
6. Rotate the shackle back to its original open position (90 degrees clockwise from the pressed-down position).
7. Close the shackle and scramble the dials to lock the padlock. Your new combination is now set.
