Your Eco-Drive watch is powered by light. Before initial use, or if the watch has stopped, it requires a full charge. Expose the watch face to a bright light source (natural sunlight is ideal) for several hours. A full charge can take approximately 11 hours in direct sunlight or 40 hours under a fluorescent lamp. The watch will not function properly until it has received sufficient charge.
