3. Konfigurazioa

3.1 Hasierako karga

Before first use, fully charge the GPS device for 2-3 hours using the provided USB charging cable and car USB charger. A full charge ensures stable operation.

  2. Attach the suction cup holder to the back of the GPS unit.
  3. Press the suction cup firmly against the chosen surface and engage the lever to secure it.

FM funtzioa

The built-in FM function allows the navigation audio to be transmitted to your car's audio system, increasing the volume and clarity of navigation broadcasts. Note that this is an amplify volume function and not a radio.

Custom Truck Routing

For commercial drivers, the device allows you to customize routes based on your vehicle's weight, length, height, and width. This feature helps avoid roads with restrictions.

  1. From the main menu, select 'Route Settings' or 'Navigation Mode'.
  2. Choose 'Truck Mode' from the vehicle type options.
  3. Access 'Truck Settings' to input your vehicle's specific dimensions (length, width, height) and weight.
  4. The GPS will then calculate routes that avoid restrictions based on your input.

5.1 Lifetime Free Map Updates

OHREX provides free lifetime map updates. You can update the maps by connecting the device to a Windows PC or by using an external TF Card.

  1. Via Windows PC: Connect your OHREX GPS Navigator to a Windows PC using the provided USB data cable. Follow the instructions provided by OHREX for downloading and installing the latest map data.
  2. Via TF Card: Download the map updates to an external TF card using either a Mac or Windows system. Insert the TF card into the device's SD Card Slot (3) and follow the on-screen prompts to update the maps.

Important: Do not use a Mac computer to directly operate map updates when connecting the GPS device, as the system may not be compatible. Use a Windows PC for direct connection or an external TF card for updates on Mac.

6.1 GPS Satellites Navigation Stops Working

If the GPS device stops receiving satellite signals or navigation functionality ceases:

  • Reset the GPS device using the Reset Hole (5) with a thin object (e.g., a paperclip).
  • Charge the device for at least 30 minutes, then power it on again.
