2. Konfigurazioa eta Muntaketa

The Computer-1 case is provided as a flat-pack kit, requiring assembly. All necessary parts for the chassis construction are included. Computer components such as the motherboard, CPU, GPU, and power supply are sold separately and must be installed by the user.

Important Considerations during Assembly:

  • Tolestura: Apply even pressure when bending aluminum sheets to ensure clean folds and proper alignment.
  • Torlojuak: Use appropriate tools and avoid over-tightening screws to prevent stripping, especially with self-tapping screws.
  • Osagaien instalazioa: Install the motherboard, power supply, and other internal components after the case structure is largely complete, following the instructions for each component.

3. Component Compatibility and Installation

The Computer-1 case is designed for specific component sizes to maintain its compact form factor.

The case supports Mini-ITX motherboards only. Ensure your motherboard's dimensions are compatible with the internal mounting points.

There is no dedicated screw hole for additional GPU stability at the rear, so ensure the GPU is securely seated in the PCIe slot.

3.4 CPU hozgailua

The maximum CPU cooler height from the motherboard surface is 4.72 hazbete (12 cm). Air cooling is the primary method supported; standard 120mm AIO liquid coolers may not fit due to fan mounting limitations.

The case includes provisions for 2.5-inch SATA drives and may accommodate a 3.5-inch HDD depending on cable management and other component clearances. Refer to the build guide for specific mounting locations.

4. Mantentzea

Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Computer-1 PC case.

  • Garbiketa: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior aluminum surfaces. For dust accumulation inside, use compressed air to clear vents and internal components. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.

  • Loturak: Over time, screws may loosen. Periodically check and gently tighten any loose fasteners to maintain case rigidity.

5.1 Case Instability / Wobbling

If the assembled case feels wobbly, re-check all screw connections. Ensure that all panels are correctly aligned and securely fastened according to the build guide. The design relies on precise assembly for structural integrity.

5.3 Stripped Screws

If a screw becomes stripped during assembly or disassembly, it may be difficult to remove or secure. Use appropriate tools and apply gentle, consistent pressure when tightening. If a screw is stripped, consider using a slightly larger M3 self-tapping screw as a replacement, if suitable, or consult with a hardware specialist.
