The Chicco Fit360 Rotating Convertible Car Seat Base is designed to provide a secure foundation for the Chicco Fit360 Rotating Convertible Car Seat (sold separately), allowing for convenient transfer between vehicles.

4. Instalazioa

The Fit360 Base offers two primary installation methods: the LeverLock Self-Tensioning Lock System using the vehicle's seat belt, or the LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) system.

4.1. LeverLock Self-Tensioning Lock System Installation (Vehicle Seat Belt)

This method provides a secure, one-time installation with minimal effort.

1. Kokatu oinarria: Place the Fit360 Base on the vehicle seat where it will be installed.
2. Open LeverLock Door: Locate and open the LeverLock door on the Fit360 Base. This will expose the belt paths.

3. Route the Seat Belt: Route the vehicle's lap and shoulder belt through the easy-access belt guides. Ensure the belt follows its natural path. Connect the vehicle buckle.

4. Remove Belt Slack and Close LeverLock: Remove any slack from the vehicle belt. Then, firmly close and latch the LeverLock door. The built-in self-tensioning system will tighten the vehicle belt, eliminating movement.

4.2. LATCH System Installation

Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the location of LATCH anchors. The Fit360 Base is equipped with LATCH connectors for alternative installation.

• Adjust the recline position using the recline handle until the bubble in the RideRight indicator is within the green zone for the appropriate mode (rear-facing or forward-facing).
• Always ensure the base is level for optimal safety and child comfort.

Once the base is securely installed in your vehicle:

1. Align the Fit360 Car Seat with the base.
2. Lower the car seat onto the base until you hear an audible click, indicating it is securely latched.
3. Verify the visual red and green Ready-to-Ride indicators. Green indicates the car seat is securely attached and in a ready-to-ride position (rear-facing or forward-facing). Red indicates it is not properly secured or positioned.

5.2. Detaching the Fit360 Car Seat from the Base

1. Ensure the car seat is in the correct position for detachment (refer to your car seat manual).
2. Locate the car seat release lever/button (typically on the car seat itself).
3. Press the release and lift the car seat straight up from the base.

5.3. Rotating the Car Seat (with Base)

The Fit360 Base facilitates the rotation of the Fit360 Car Seat. Refer to the Fit360 Car Seat manual for specific instructions on rotation, as this feature is controlled by the car seat itself, not the base.
