4. Operating the Crossbow
4.1 Cocking the Crossbow
The Explorer XP370 is equipped with a pre-installed crank cocking device for easy and consistent cocking. Follow the instructions provided with the crank cocking device for safe and proper use. Ensure the crossbow is fully cocked and the safety is engaged before proceeding.

4.2 Loading Bolts
Use only Headhunter bolts (20" carbon arrows) with your Explorer XP370. Carefully place the bolt onto the rail, ensuring the nock is properly seated against the string. The anti-dry fire mechanism prevents the crossbow from firing without a bolt loaded.
4.3 Aiming and Firing
Utilize the illuminated red dot scope for precision targeting. Adjust the red dot brightness and position as needed for varying lighting conditions. Once your target is acquired and the area is clear, disengage the safety and gently squeeze the trigger to fire.
