- Despaketatzea: Carefully remove the electric fireplace heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or shipping.
- Lekua: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clearance from any combustible materials (e.g., curtains, furniture, bedding) on all sides and the top. Do not block the air intake or exhaust vents.

The controls for the electric fireplace heater are located on the front panel, typically behind the decorative door.
