It is not compatible with vehicles that have built-in wireless CarPlay or wireless Android Auto, and it does not work with vehicles that do not support CarPlay or Android Auto at all. It is compatible with iPhone (iOS 10+) and Android smartphones (Android 11+). The device works only with vehicles equipped with a touchscreen display.

Follow these steps to set up your OTTOCAST P3 Pro adapter:

1. Ensure your vehicle has factory wired CarPlay or Android Auto and a touchscreen display.
2. Connect the OTTOCAST P3 Pro to your car's USB port using the provided USB-A to USB-C cable or USB-C to USB-C cable, depending on your car's port type.
3. If experiencing frequent disconnects or restarts, use the included Y-Cable to provide extra stable power by connecting one end to the device and the other two ends to a car USB port (data + power) and an extra power source (e.g., car charger port/power bank).
4. On your car's display, select the CarPlay or Android Auto option. The adapter will boot up and display its interface.
5. Pair your smartphone via Bluetooth to the device (e.g., CAR2-XXXX). Follow on-screen prompts to allow permissions.
6. Connect the device to the internet via your car's Wi-Fi, a personal mobile hotspot, or by inserting a data SIM card into the device's SIM slot.
