Your Eco-Drive watch is powered by light. Before initial use, or if the watch has stopped, expose it to bright light (natural or artificial) for several hours to ensure it is sufficiently charged. The second hand may move in two-second intervals if the charge is low, indicating a low power warning.

- Pull the crown out to position 2: The second hand will stop.
- Biratu koroa: Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Ensure the AM/PM is correctly set by observing the 24-hour sub-dial. When setting the minute hand, advance it a few minutes past the desired time, then turn it back to the exact minute.
