DESCRIPTION
Anti-decubitus cushions made from silicone hollow fibre enclosed in a sanforized cotton cover. Devices with Velcro fasteners. The high resilience and breathability allow an effective action in the prevention of the onset of pressure ulcers.

Decubitus prevention for wheelchair-bound patients in order to decrease pressure peaks, reduce shear and friction forces and promote air circulation.
ERABILTZEKO NEURRIAK
Although the device is indicated for the prevention of decubitus, it cannot control all the factors that favour its onset. It is therefore recommended to regularly monitor the affected area, to move the patient frequently, and to pay particular attention to hygiene. For this purpose, it is advisable to consult the protocols and guidelines for the prevention of pressure ulcers. Always wear personal pro-tective clothing when using the device

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE DEVICE
Place the chosen cushion on the seat sheet of the wheelchair, making sure that the Velcro fasteners are positioned on the back-rest side.
Then secure the cushion to a rigid wheelchair structure using the Velcro fasteners.
