3.2 Installation Conditions and Measurement
The installation of the door lock requires professional tools and expertise. It is highly recommended to hire professional personnel for installation.

3.3 Hasierako konfigurazioa
- Instalatu bateriak: Open the battery cover and insert 8 AA batteries. (Using original batteries is recommended to prevent damage from leakage during long-term use.)
- Berrezarri blokeoa: Long press the reset button for 5 seconds. Release it after hearing a voice prompt. The reset is complete. Note: After a successful reset, there will be no users, and the door lock cannot be properly locked. Please complete the lock setup as soon as possible.

3.4.1 Connect to Mi Home App
The Aqara N100 is compatible with the Mi Home App for control and smart home integration.
- Scan the QR code provided in the original user manual (or search "Mi Home" in your app store) to download and install the Mi Home App.
- Open the Mi Home App, click "+" in the upper right corner of the homepage, and follow the app's instructions to add the device.
Tip: After the door lock is successfully added, it will automatically connect to the Bluetooth gateway device under your account. No additional configuration is needed. The effective Bluetooth communication range is 10m, but obstacles like walls may affect this range.
Note: Due to updates in the Mi Home App, actual operations may vary slightly. Please follow the current in-app guidance.
3.4.2 Gehitu erabiltzailea
Once connected to the app, enter the door lock device page and follow the app's prompts to add the first user (defaulting to administrator). Note: The door lock cannot be properly locked if no users are added.
3.4.3 HomeKit Connection (for iOS users)
For Apple HomeKit integration:
- Open the Apple "Home" App.
- Click "+" in the upper right corner of the page and select "Add Accessory".
- Scan or manually enter the HomeKit setup code found on the back cover or bottom of the door lock (please keep this code safe).
- Follow the prompts to complete the addition.

- Indoor Deadbolt: Rotate the inner knob 90 degrees clockwise or counter-clockwise to engage the deadbolt. Rotate 90 degrees in the opposite direction to disengage.
4.3 Local Settings Mode
If phone app access is inconvenient, you can adjust certain settings directly on the lock:
- Short press the "Settings" button under the battery cover.
- Verify with an administrator fingerprint or password.
