2. Segurtasun informazioa
Always read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before using this product.
- Segurtasun elektrikoa: Ensure the soldering iron is connected to a properly grounded power outlet. Do not use with damaged cords or plugs. Disconnect from power when not in use or during maintenance.
- Erretzeko arriskua: The soldering iron tip and surrounding metal parts reach very high temperatures (up to 380°C). Always use extreme caution to avoid contact with hot surfaces. Allow the iron to cool completely before storing.
- Fume Inhalation: Soldering produces fumes. Work in a well-ventilated area or use a fume extractor to avoid inhaling harmful fumes.
- Begietako babesa: Always wear safety glasses to protect your eyes from solder splashes or flying debris.
- Laneko gainazala: Use a heat-resistant work surface. Keep flammable materials away from the soldering area.
- Haurrak eta maskotak: Keep the soldering iron out of reach of children and pets.

4. Konfigurazioa
- Despaketatzea: Kontu handiz kendu osagai guztiak ontzitik.
- Tip Installation (if not pre-installed): Ensure the soldering iron is unplugged and cool. Gently insert the R-10D tip into the heating element receptacle until it is seated firmly. Do not force it.
- Potentzia-konexioa: Plug the three-conductor power cable into a compatible 220V grounded electrical outlet.
- Hasierako berotzea: Once plugged in, the soldering iron will begin to heat. It takes approximately 2 minutes and 15 seconds to reach 300°C, with a maximum operating temperature of 380°C.
5. Funtzionamendu-argibideak
Follow these steps for effective soldering:
- Aholkua landu: Before first use and periodically during operation, apply a small amount of solder to the hot tip. This 'tins' the tip, protecting it from oxidation and ensuring efficient heat transfer.
- Cleaning the Tip: Erabili iragarkiaamp sponge or brass wool tip cleaner to wipe off excess solder and oxidation from the tip before and after each use.
- Applying Heat: Place the clean, tinned tip against both the component lead and the solder pad simultaneously.
- Applying Solder: Once the joint is hot enough (typically a few seconds), apply solder to the opposite side of the joint from the iron. The solder should flow smoothly and quickly around the joint. Do not apply solder directly to the iron tip.
- Removing the Iron: Once the solder has flowed, remove the soldering iron first, then the solder. Allow the joint to cool undisturbed.
- Hoztu: When finished, unplug the soldering iron and place it in a safe, heat-resistant stand. Allow it to cool completely before handling or storing.
6. Mantentzea
Proper maintenance extends the life of your soldering iron:
- Aholkuen garbiketa: Garbitu punta aldizka iragarkia erabilizamp sponge or brass wool. For stubborn oxidation, use a tip tinner/cleaner compound. A well-maintained tip will be shiny and accept solder easily.
- Aholkuaren ordezkoa: Replace the tip when it becomes pitted, corroded, or no longer accepts solder easily, even after cleaning and tinning. Ensure the iron is cool and unplugged before changing tips.
- Handle and Cord: Keep the handle clean and free of solder. Inspect the power cord regularly for any signs of damage (cuts, fraying). If damaged, discontinue use and seek professional repair.
- Biltegiratzea: Store the soldering iron in a dry, safe place, away from dust and moisture, once it has completely cooled.
