This manual provides detailed instructions for installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your lock.

Konfigurazioa eta instalazioa
The CL1005 lock is designed for easy installation and can serve as a quick retrofit for existing cam locks or for new installations on units without a lock. It fits doors up to 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) thick and features a 5/8 inch (15.8 mm) threaded barrel.

Instalazio urratsak:
- Atea prestatu: Use the provided template to mark and drill the necessary holes on the cabinet door. Ensure the door thickness does not exceed 1/2 inch (12.7 mm).
- Insert Lock Body: Insert the threaded barrel of the lock body through the prepared hole from the front of the cabinet door.
- Secure Lock Body: From the inside of the cabinet, place the mounting plate over the threaded barrel and secure it with the provided nut. Tighten firmly.
- Install Cam: Attach the appropriate cam to the back of the lock mechanism using the provided screw. Ensure the cam rotates freely and engages with the cabinet frame when locked.
- Instalatu bateriak: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the lock. Insert the 2 x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.
- Proba funtzionamendua: Before closing the cabinet, test the lock with the default code (refer to the operating instructions for default code and programming).

The CL1005 lock operates using a user-programmable code. It is powered by 2 x AAA batteries, providing approximately 15,000 openings.

- The lock will emit a confirmation tone and the LED will flash green.
- Turn the knob to the unlocked position.

Changing the User Code:

Battery Failure Override:
In case of battery failure, the lock can be temporarily powered using a 9V battery. Locate the two contact points (LEDs) on the front of the lock. Apply the 9V battery across these points (positive to positive, negative to negative). While holding the 9V battery in place, enter the Master Code to open the lock. Replace the internal AAA batteries immediately after gaining access.
