Konfigurazio Argibideak
- Desegin: Carefully remove the planter and any included components (e.g., reversible tray) from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
- Kokalekua: Choose a suitable outdoor location for your planter. Ensure the surface is level and can support the weight of the filled planter.
- Install Reversible Tray: Place the reversible tray inside the planter. The tray can be positioned to support a potted plant or to create a false bottom for direct planting, depending on your preference.
- Add Drainage Material (Optional): For optimal drainage and aeration, you may add a layer of lightweight drainage material (e.g., gravel, perlite) at the bottom of the planter before adding soil.

Operating the Self-Watering System
The Mayne Fairfield planter features a self-watering reservoir designed to provide consistent moisture to your plants. This system minimizes the need for frequent watering, making plant care more convenient.
- Initial Watering: After planting, thoroughly water the soil from the top until water begins to drain into the reservoir.
- Urtegia betetzea: Once the soil is saturated, you can fill the water reservoir directly. The planter is designed with an internal reservoir that holds water, which is then wicked up into the soil as needed by the plant roots.
- Monitoring Water Levels: The frequency of refilling the reservoir will depend on the plant type, climate, and exposure to sun. Check the reservoir periodically and refill when empty. Overfilling is generally not an issue as excess water will drain out.
- First Few Weeks: During the first few weeks after planting, continue to water the soil from the top to encourage root growth downwards towards the reservoir.
