Sarrera
The GoolRC HJ Digital Servo Tester and ESC Consistency Tester is a versatile tool designed for testing the performance and consistency of servos and Electronic Speed Controllers (ESCs) used in RC helicopters, airplanes, and cars. It provides precise control over servo output signals and features a digital display for clear readings. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your device.
Segurtasun Informazioa
Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent damage to the device or connected components, and to ensure personal safety:
- Ziurtatu sarrera voltage is within the specified range of DC 5V to 6V. Exceeding this range can damage the tester.
- Verify correct polarity when connecting power and servos to avoid short circuits or component damage.
- Do not operate the device in wet conditions or expose it to extreme temperatures.
- Mantendu gailua haurrengandik urrun.
- Deskonektatu korrontea erabiltzen ez duzunean edo mantentze-lanak egiten ari zarenean.

Konfigurazioa
Follow these steps to set up your GoolRC HJ Digital Servo Tester:
- Potentzia-konexioa: Connect a DC 5V-6V power source to the input port labeled "4.8-6V". Ensure correct polarity (typically brown/black wire for ground, red for positive voltageta).
- Servo/ESC Connection: Connect your servo(s) or ESC(s) to the output ports labeled "OUT 1-4". Each port has three pins: ground, positive voltage, and signal. Ensure the servo/ESC wires are connected with correct polarity (typically brown/black for ground, red for positive, orange/yellow/white for signal).
- Hasierako piztea: Upon powering on, the tester will automatically enter Manual mode (S-1).

Funtzionamendu moduak
The tester features three operating modes, selectable by pressing the "Select" button:
- S-1 Manual Mode:
In this mode, you manually control the servo's position by rotating the control knob. The digital display shows the current pulse width in microseconds (us), ranging from 800us to 2200us. This mode is ideal for precise positioning and checking the full range of motion of a servo.
- S-2 Neutral Mode:
This mode sets the servo to its neutral (center) position, typically at 1500us. It is useful for finding the mechanical center of a servo before installation or calibration.
- S-3 Automatic Mode:
In Automatic mode, the servo will continuously sweep back and forth across its full range of motion (from 800us to 2200us). The control knob adjusts the speed of this sweeping motion. This mode is useful for testing servo consistency and identifying any sticking points or irregularities over its operational range.
Pulse Width Settings
The "Pulse Width" button allows you to cycle through different signal frequencies, primarily for digital servos. The default and most common setting for analog servos is 50Hz.
- 50H (50Hz): Analog servo signal cycle of 20us frequency. This is the standard for most analog servos.
- 125H (125Hz): Digital servo signal cycle of 8us frequency. Suitable for some digital servos.
- 250H (250Hz): Digital servo signal cycle of 4us frequency. Suitable for high-performance digital servos.
Note: Using a higher frequency than an analog servo is designed for may cause erratic behavior or damage. Always ensure the selected frequency matches the servo's specifications.

Arazoak konpontzea
- Energiarik/Pantailarik ez:
Ensure the power source is connected correctly to the "4.8-6V" input port and provides the specified voltage. Check for loose connections or damaged cables.
- Servo Not Responding:
Verify that the servo is correctly connected to one of the "OUT" ports with the correct polarity. Ensure the servo itself is functional. Check the selected pulse frequency (50H for most analog servos).
- Servo Mugimendu Erratikoa:
This can occur if the pulse frequency is set too high for an analog servo. Switch to 50H. Also, ensure the power supply is stable and sufficient for the connected servos.
- Irakurketa okerrak:
While the tester is designed for accuracy, ensure the power supply is stable. If issues persist, try testing with a different servo or power source to isolate the problem.
Mantentzea
To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your servo tester:
- Mantendu gailua garbi eta hautsik eta hondakinik gabe. Erabili zapi leun eta lehor bat garbitzeko.
- Store the tester in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Saihestu gailua erortzea edo kolpe gogorrak jasan.
- Regularly inspect cables and connectors for wear or damage.
