If your specific model is not listed, please verify your system's memory requirements before installation. This module is a DIMM (Dual In-line Memory Module) and is designed for desktop computers. It is not compatible with systems requiring SODIMM (Small Outline Dual In-line Memory Module) memory, which is typically found in laptops or some compact PCs.

This memory is NON-ECC (Non-Error Correcting Code) and Unbuffered. Ensure your system supports NON-ECC Unbuffered DDR3 memory. ECC memory is typically used in servers and some workstations and is not compatible with systems designed for NON-ECC memory.

The memory type is DDR3. Your system must support DDR3 RAM. Different generations of DDR RAM (e.g., DDR2, DDR4, DDR5) are not cross-compatible due to different pin configurations and notch locations.

Setup: Memory Installation Guide
Follow these steps carefully to install your new A-Tech RAM modules:
- Prestaketa:
- Power off your computer completely and unplug all cables (power, monitor, peripherals).
- Open the computer case. Refer to your computer's manual for specific instructions on how to open the case.
- Discharge any static electricity by touching a grounded metal object (e.g., the metal frame of your computer case) before handling any components. Consider using an anti-static wrist strap.
- Memoria zirrikituak bilatu:
Identify the DIMM slots on your motherboard. These are typically long slots with clips on either end. Your motherboard manual will indicate the correct slots for dual-channel memory configuration, usually matching colors or specific numbering (e.g., slots 1 and 3, or 2 and 4).

- Memoria moduluak instalatu:
- Gently push open the clips at both ends of the memory slot.
- Align the notch on the bottom edge of the RAM module with the key in the DIMM slot. The module will only fit one way. Do not force it.
- Place the module into the slot and apply firm, even pressure to both ends of the module until the clips snap into place, securing the module. You should hear a click.
- Repeat for the second memory module in the appropriate paired slot.
- Reassembly and Power On:
- Itxi ordenagailuaren zorroa.
- Berriro konektatu kable guztiak.
- Power on your computer. The system should automatically detect the new memory. You may need to enter the BIOS/UEFI setup to confirm the new memory capacity, though this is often not required.
If your system does not boot or recognize the new memory, refer to the Troubleshooting section.
Operating Your System with New Memory
Random Access Memory (RAM) is a critical component that allows your computer to temporarily store data that is actively being used by the operating system and applications. An upgrade to 16GB of DDR3 RAM will significantly improve your system's ability to handle multiple applications simultaneously, reduce loading times, and enhance overall responsiveness, especially for resource-intensive tasks such as video editing, gaming, or complex data processing.
Once installed, the memory operates automatically. No specific user interaction is required for the memory modules themselves. The operating system will manage memory allocation as needed.
Mantentzea
A-Tech RAM modules are designed for long-term reliability and typically require no specific maintenance once installed. However, general computer maintenance practices can help ensure the longevity of all internal components, including your RAM:
- Keep your computer clean: Regularly clean the interior of your computer case to prevent dust buildup, which can impede airflow and lead to overheating. Use compressed air to gently remove dust from components and fans.
- Ziurtatu aireztapen egokia: Make sure your computer's vents are not blocked to allow for adequate cooling.
- Avoid physical shock: Protect your computer from drops or impacts, which can dislodge or damage internal components.
- Kontuz maneiatu: If you ever need to remove or re-install the memory modules, always follow proper ESD precautions and handle the modules by their edges, avoiding contact with the gold connectors or chips.

If you encounter issues after installing your A-Tech RAM, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- System Does Not Boot / No Display:
- Ensure the RAM modules are fully seated in their slots. Re-seat them by pressing down firmly until the clips snap into place.
- Verify that the modules are installed in the correct slots according to your motherboard's manual for dual-channel operation.
- Try installing only one module at a time to identify if one of the modules is faulty.
- Clear the CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) settings on your motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual for instructions on how to do this (often involves moving a jumper or removing the CMOS battery).
- Incorrect Memory Capacity Detected:
- Egiaztatu zure sistemaren BIOS/UEFI ezarpenak detektatutako memoria baieztatzeko.
- Ensure your operating system is a 64-bit version to fully utilize 16GB of RAM. 32-bit operating systems can typically only address up to 4GB of RAM.
- Verify that all modules are correctly seated.
- System Instability / Blue Screens (BSOD):
- Run a memory diagnostic tool (e.g., Windows Memory Diagnostic, MemTest86) to check for errors in the RAM modules.
- Ensure your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI is updated to the latest version, as this can sometimes improve memory compatibility.
- Confirm that the memory speed (1333MHz) is supported by your motherboard and CPU.
If issues persist after following these steps, please contact A-Tech support for further assistance.
