2. Installing the Battery and Fuel Cell
The tool requires both a charged battery and a fuel cell for operation.
- Ensure the battery is charged. Slide the charged battery into the battery compartment until it clicks into place.
- Open the fuel cell compartment. Insert a new Paslode fuel cell, ensuring it is oriented correctly. Close the compartment securely. A single fuel cell can drive approximately 1,200 nails.

- Pull back the follower on the magazine until it locks.
- Insert a strip of nails into the magazine, ensuring the nail points are facing forward.
- Release the follower, allowing it to push the nails forward.
