The Saramonic SR-WM4C system consists of compact transmitters and receivers. Each unit features a power indicator, earphone jack (on receiver), antenna, audio output indicator (on receiver), power button, and frequency mode switch. They are powered by 4 AA batteries each and include a belt clip and hot shoe mount with a 1/4 inch thread hole.

The SR-AX100 is a passive 2-channel audio mixer that allows connection of two microphones or wireless receivers to a DSLR camera or camcorder. It features volume control knobs for left and right channels and a mono/stereo switch. It mounts via a standard hot-shoe and includes three integrated mounting shoes for accessories.

- Attach Lavalier Microphones: Connect the 3.5mm TRS plug of the omnidirectional lavalier microphone to the "MIC IN" port on the SR-WM4C transmitter. Secure the microphone to clothing using the lapel clip and foam wind cover.

- Connect SR-AX100 Mixer (if used): Mount the SR-AX100 mixer to your camera's hot-shoe. Connect the mixer's stereo 3.5mm TRS mini-jack output to your camera's audio input.

- Piztu/Itzali: Slide the power switch on each transmitter and receiver to the "ON" position. The power indicator LED will illuminate.
- Select Operating Frequency: On both the transmitter and receiver, use the frequency mode switch (A, B, C, D) to select a clear operating frequency between 203MHz and 216MHz. Ensure both units are set to the same channel for proper communication.
- Adjust Volume (SR-WM4C Receiver): Use the volume control knob on the SR-WM4C receiver to adjust the output level to your camera or mixer.
- Monitor Audio (SR-WM4C Receiver): Plug headphones into the receiver's earphone jack to monitor the audio in real-time.
- Adjust Mixer Levels (SR-AX100): If using the SR-AX100 mixer, adjust the individual left and right channel volume control knobs to achieve desired audio balance. Use the M/S switch to select between mono or stereo output.
- Camera Audio Settings: Adjust your camera's internal mic levels to prevent clipping. A common recommendation is to lower camera input levels and adjust the wireless system's output for optimal signal-to-noise ratio.
