The Klarstein Vinea extractor hood is designed for under-cabinet mounting. Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and safety.
3.1 Muntaketa
The hood should be mounted at a safe distance above the cooking surface, typically between 65-75 cm (25.6-29.5 inches) for electric cooktops and 75-85 cm (29.5-33.5 inches) for gas cooktops. Refer to the technical drawing for precise dimensions and mounting points.

3.2 Aireztapen aukerak
- Exhaust Air Mode: Connect the hood to an external ducting system (not supplied) to vent cooking fumes outside. Ensure the ducting is of appropriate diameter (150mm recommended) and as short and straight as possible for best performance.
- Birzirkulazio modua: For recirculation, an activated carbon filter (sold separately) must be installed. This filter cleans the air before returning it to the kitchen. No external ducting is required for this mode.

- To remove: Locate the release clips on each filter, press them, and pull the filter downwards.
- Clean: Wash in a dishwasher or by hand using hot water and a mild detergent. Ensure they are completely dry before reinstallation.
- To reinstall: Insert the filter into its slot and push until the clips engage securely.

5.2 Replacing Activated Carbon Filters (Recirculation Mode)
If operating in recirculation mode, the activated carbon filters (not included) need to be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on usage. Refer to the specific instructions provided with the activated carbon filters for replacement procedures.
5.3 Kanpoko gainazalak garbitzea
Clean the exterior surfaces of the hood with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive pads, as these can damage the finish.
