Receive Display Settings
To configure the meter for receive display:
- Sakatu (FUNTZIOA) key to enter the setup menu and enable the extended menu.
- Biratu (HAUTATU) to call up setup menu item No-061 (MTR ARX SEL).

- -SIG
- -CTR

Emission Display Settings
To configure the meter for emission display:
- Sakatu (FUNTZIOA) key to enter the setup menu and enable the extended menu.
- Biratu (HAUTATU) to call up setup menu item No-061 (MTR ARX SEL).
- Biratu (DIAL) to select an external instrument display option from the following:
- -PWR
- -ALC
- -MOD
- -SWR
- -VLT
- -N / A
- - OFF
Kalibrazio-metodoa
To calibrate the meter for accurate readings:
- Sakatu (FUNTZIOA) key to enter the setup menu and enable the extended menu.
- Biratu (HAUTATU) to call up setup menu item No-060 (MTR ARX SEL).
- Biratu (DIAL) hautatzeko FS.
- Using a small flathead screwdriver, adjust the calibration adjustment hole at the rear of the unit until the meter pointer reaches full scale.

Once properly set up and calibrated, the Zerone External S Meter provides real-time readings for various radio parameters. The meter's needle will indicate values on the selected scale (SIG, PWR, SWR, MOD, VOLT, DISC) based on your radio's operation mode (receive or transmit).

The Zerone External S Meter is designed for durability. Regular maintenance is minimal but important for continued accuracy and longevity.
- Keep the meter clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the casing and display face.

Static Pointer / Zeroing Issues

- Locate the black self-zeroing screw on the mask-side of the instrument.
- Gently adjust this screw with a small flathead screwdriver until the pointer rests at the zero mark.
