1. Sarrera

The RYOBI 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless String Trimmer & Edger is designed for efficient lawn care, offering both trimming and edging capabilities. This lightweight tool is powered by an 18-Volt lithium-ion battery, providing a 10-inch cut width and the versatility to rotate the shaft for easy edging. As part of the RYOBI ONE+ system, the battery and tool are compatible with other RYOBI ONE+ products.

2.1 Muntaketa

This product requires some assembly. Refer to the included assembly guide for detailed instructions on attaching the handle, guard, and other components. Ensure all connections are secure before proceeding.

2.2 Bateriaren instalazioa eta kargatzea

The RYOBI 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless String Trimmer operates with an 18-Volt Lithium-Ion battery. The battery re-charges in approximately one hour.

  1. To install the battery, align the battery pack with the port on the trimmer handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
  2. To remove the battery, press the release latches on the sides of the battery pack and pull it out.
  3. For charging, insert the battery into the compatible RYOBI ONE+ charger. Follow the charger's instructions for proper charging procedures.

2.3 String Head and Line Installation

The trimmer features an easy-to-use string head for quick line replacement.

To install new trimmer line, press the release buttons on the side of the spool housing and remove the cap. Wind the new line according to the arrows on the spool, ensuring it is properly seated before replacing the cap.

To start the trimmer, ensure the battery is installed. Press the safety switch located on the handle and then squeeze the trigger. To stop, release the trigger.

3.2 Trimming Function

Hold the trimmer comfortably with both hands. Position the trimmer head parallel to the ground and move it in a sweeping motion to cut grass and weeds. Maintain a safe distance from obstacles and ensure the cutting line does not come into contact with hard surfaces.

3.3 Edging Function (EasyEdge™)

The RYOBI trimmer features an EasyEdge™ shaft that rotates 180 degrees, allowing for quick conversion from trimming to edging. This is ideal for creating clean lines along driveways, sidewalks, and flowerbeds.

  1. To switch to edging mode, locate the rotation mechanism on the shaft.
  2. Rotate the shaft 180 degrees until the trimmer head is perpendicular to the ground.
  3. Position the edger wheel along the edge of the surface you wish to trim and guide the tool along the line.

4. Mantentzea
