4.3. Software Download and Installation

1. Visit the official Elitech webgunea: www.elitechus.com.
2. Navigate to the 'Products' section and look for 'Elitechlog Software' in the category list.
3. Download the appropriate software file for your operating system (Windows or Mac). Mac users can also search for "ElitechLog" in the App Store.
4. Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the software installation.

4.4. Connecting the Device to a Computer

1. Connect the data logger to your computer using the provided USB cable.
2. Ensure a small computer icon appears on the logger's display, indicating a successful connection.

5.1. Connecting to the Software

1. Open the Elitechlog software on your computer.
2. The device model number should appear at the bottom left of the software interface, confirming a successful connection.

• Using Default Parameters: If you prefer default settings and only need to synchronize the local time, stay on the "Summary" page and click "Quick Reset". This will synchronize the device's time with your computer's.
• Customizing Parameters: For custom settings, navigate to the "Parameter" page in the software.

Enable this feature to automatically shorten the logging interval to 1 minute when an alarm is triggered, providing more detailed data during critical events.

5.5. Sensor Type Selection

Choose the appropriate sensor type based on your monitoring needs:

• Temp (Probe T) + Humi (Probe H): Monitors both temperature and humidity simultaneously using the combined sensor.
• Temp (Probe T) + Temp (Probe H): Monitors temperature at two different spots using both the temperature probe and the combined sensor (only the temperature aspect of the combined sensor is used).
• Temp + Humi (Probe H Only): Monitors both temperature and humidity using only the combined sensor.

5.6. Button Stop

Enable or disable the ability to stop logging by pressing and holding the button on the device.

Set a delay period (in hours) before logging begins after the device is removed from the computer. Logging will commence once the set delay time has elapsed.

Configure how long the device's screen remains active. Options typically include "Always On" or specific time durations (e.g., 15s, 30s, 60s).

• Circular Logging: The logger will continue recording data, overwriting the oldest data points with new ones.
• Stop when full: The logger will cease recording once it reaches its maximum capacity of 16,000 data points.

5.11. Kalibrazioa

The calibration feature allows you to adjust temperature and humidity readings for specific situations. If no specific adjustments are needed, leave the calibration values at 0.

5.12. Display Maximum and Minimum

Choose whether to display the maximum and minimum values by the current day or by the entire recording cycle.

5.13. Audible Alarm Settings

Configure the audible alarm frequency (e.g., 3 times, 10 times) and the interval between repeated alarms (e.g., 5M, 10M, 20M, 30M).

5.15. Alarma-mugak

Set the upper and lower limits for temperature and humidity alarms. If readings fall outside this range, data in the report will be highlighted in red.

5.16. Save Parameters

After configuring all desired settings, click "Save Parameter" in the software. This action will also synchronize the local time with the device.

5.17. Date & Time Format and Language

In the software, you can set the preferred date and time format, as well as the display language for the device and reports.

5.18. Starting Logging

5.20. Exporting Report

1. Connect the device to the computer and open the Elitechlog software.
2. Navigate to the "Graph" page.
3. Click the "Export Data" button at the bottom of the page to save the data report in your desired format (e.g., PDF, XLS, TXT).

5.21. Restarting Logging

Please note that the logger cannot be restarted directly once it has been stopped. To initiate a new logging session, the device must be reset via the software.

• If you do not need to change parameters, click "Quick Reset" on the "Summary" page.
• If you need to adjust parameters, go to the "Parameter" page, make your changes, and then click "Save Parameter" to reset the device.

After being reset, the logger will be ready to start a new logging session as described in section 5.18.

5.22. Min/Max Interface and Alarm Indicators

Press the button once on the device to toggle through the display of minimum, maximum, and average recorded data. You can also view the set alarm thresholds (high/low limits) and observe alarm indicators (red light + beeps) when limits are exceeded.

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Elitech GSP-6G data logger, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

• Logging Not Stopping: If the device button does not stop logging, connect to the software and use the "Stop Logging" function on the "Summary" page. Ensure the "Button Stop" feature is enabled in the parameters if you wish to use the physical button.
