Connect the red battery hookup clip to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's 6-40V DC battery and the black clip to the negative (-) terminal or a good chassis ground. The device will power on and display the current voltage.

Voltmeter Function

Once powered, the GT102 displays the voltage at the probe tip. Touch the probe to any DC circuit point to read its voltage. A red LED indicates positive voltage, and a green LED indicates negative voltage or ground.

Ground Test

To test for a good ground connection, touch the probe to the component or circuit point. If the green LED illuminates and the display shows 0.0V, it indicates a good ground.
