4. Instalazioa
This section provides detailed instructions for installing your EVERSTEIN Thermostatic Shower System. Due to the complexity and the need for wall modifications, professional installation is strongly recommended.
4.1. Instalazio aurreko gogoetak
- This system is designed for new construction or remodeled bathrooms. Existing tile and fixtures will need to be removed, and repiping may be necessary.
- Ensure adequate water pressure and hot/cold water lines are available at the installation site.
- Familiarize yourself with all components and tools required before starting.

The thermostatic valve is the core of your shower system, ensuring consistent water temperature. Proper installation is critical.

- Valve Placement: Position the valve within the wall studs, ensuring it is level. The recommended installation height for the valve is between 43 5/16" and 51 3/16" (1100-1300 mm) from the floor.
- Sakonera doitzea: The valve depth is crucial. Ensure the embedded box is cut to be flush with the tile surface prior to trim installation. The minimum depth is 2 9/16" (65 mm) and maximum is 2 15/16" (75 mm). An incorrect depth can lead to malfunction.
- Hodi-konexioak: Connect the hot water inlet (left), cold water inlet (right), handheld shower outlet, and shower head outlets to the valve. Standard connections are 1/2-14" NPT for USA/Canada.
- Hustubideko hodiak: Before connecting pipes to the valve, flush the inlet pipes for two minutes to remove debris and prevent blockage.
- Zigilu-konexioak: Wrap Teflon tape around all threaded connections for at least 12 turns to ensure a watertight seal.
- Ihes proba: After connecting all pipes, insert plugs into the outlets and perform a water test to check for any leaks at the joints.
- Presio proba: Test the water pressure and flush the outlet pipes for one minute to ensure proper flow.
- Install Trim Plate: Once tiling is complete, install the trim plate, ensuring the cut-out in the tile does not exceed the dimensions of the trim.

4.4. Shower Head Installation
Install the 12-inch rainfall shower head and the 6-inch shower head according to the following steps:

- Dutxako besoen instalazioa: For the 12-inch rainfall shower head, ensure the distance from the finished tile surface to the brass fitting is 5/8" (15 mm). For the 6-inch shower head, ensure the distance from the finished tile surface to the brass fitting is 3/8" (8 mm).
- Teflon zinta: Wrap Teflon tape around the threads of the shower arm for at least 12 turns to prevent leaks.
- Secure Shower Arm: Thread the shower arm into the wall fitting and tighten with a wrench.
- Dutxa-burua lotu: Attach the 12-inch rainfall shower head to the ceiling-mounted shower arm and the 6-inch shower head to its wall-mounted arm. Ensure rubber washers are in place.
4.5. Handheld Shower Installation
Install the handheld shower and holder:

- Holder Placement: Ensure the distance from the finished tile surface to the brass fitting for the handheld shower holder is 3/4" (20 mm).
- Teflon zinta: Wrap Teflon tape around the threads of the handheld shower holder for at least 12 turns.
- Secure Holder: Thread the handheld shower holder into the wall fitting and tighten.
- Konektatu mahuka: Connect the 59-inch shower hose to the handheld shower head and the shower holder outlet. Ensure washers are in place and connections are hand-tightened, then slightly with a wrench.
5. Funtzionamendua
Your EVERSTEIN Thermostatic Shower System offers a customizable showering experience with precise temperature control and multiple spray functions.

5.1. Tenperatura Kontrola
- The thermostatic valve maintains a consistent water temperature, protecting against sudden changes in hot or cold water supply.
- Set the desired temperature using the dedicated temperature control handle. The system features a safety lock at 100°F (38°C) to prevent accidental scalding. To exceed this temperature, press the safety lock button while turning the handle.
5.2. Funtzioa hautatzea
- Use the diverter handle to switch between the 12-inch rainfall shower head, the 6-inch shower head, and the handheld shower.
- The system allows for dual functionality, meaning two functions can operate simultaneously (e.g., 12-inch rainfall and handheld shower).

- The 6-inch shower head offers an additional spray option.

6. Mantentzea
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your EVERSTEIN shower system.
6.1. Akabera garbitzea
