3. Konfigurazioa
Follow these steps to assemble your TECLUNG Metal Detector:
- Lotu bilaketa-bobina: Connect the search coil to the lower stem using the provided bolt and nut. Ensure it is securely fastened but allows for slight angle adjustment.
- Connect the Shafts: Insert the middle shaft into the lower shaft, and then the upper shaft (with the control unit) into the middle shaft. Secure each connection using the snap fasteners.
- Beso-euskarria instalatu: Slide the armrest onto the upper shaft and secure it with the provided screw. Adjust its position for comfortable use.
- Kablearen ibilbidea: Wrap the search coil cable neatly around the stem, ensuring it is not too tight or loose, and secure it with the provided clips. Plug the cable connector into the control unit's port.
- Sartu bateriak: Open the battery compartment on the control unit. Insert the two 9V batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
- Egokitu luzera: Adjust the overall length of the detector using the telescopic rod to a comfortable height for your use. The adjustable length (28.8”–49”) accommodates various user heights.

4. Funtzionamendu-argibideak
Your TECLUNG Metal Detector features an intuitive LCD display and multiple modes for efficient treasure hunting.

- Bitxiak: Prioritizes non-ferrous metals, automatically excluding iron.
- Pinpoint (PP): Non-motion mode for precise target localization.

4.3 Sentikortasunaren doikuntza
Erabili SENS + eta SENS - buttons to adjust the detector's sensitivity. Higher sensitivity increases detection depth but may also increase false signals. There are 5 levels of sensitivity.
4.4 Volume and Backlight
Sakatu BOLUMENA/ARGIA button to adjust the volume. Press and hold the BOLUMENA/ARGIA button for 3 seconds to turn the LCD backlight on or off, useful for low-light conditions.
4.5 Target Identification and Depth
The large LCD display provides numeric IDs (01-99) to help identify the type of metal detected and an 8-grade depth indicator. This allows for more precise targeting and reduces unnecessary digging.

5. Mantentzea
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your metal detector:
- Garbiketa: After each use, wipe down the search coil and stem with a damp cloth to remove dirt, sand, or salt residue. Ensure the control unit remains dry, as it is not waterproof.
- Biltegiratzea: Store the detector in a cool, dry place. If storing for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
- Kableen zainketa: Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the search coil cable. Ensure it is securely wrapped around the stem to prevent damage during use.
- Bobina iragazgaitza: The 10-inch search coil is IP68 waterproof, making it suitable for use in shallow water. However, the control box is NOT waterproof and must be kept dry.
