  2. Connect the pneumatic lines to their respective ports. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.

5. Funtzionamendu-argibideak

This section details the steps for safely and effectively changing a tire using the KATOOL KT-T830W.

5.1 Tire Removal (Demounting)

  1. Deflate Tire: Remove the valve core to fully deflate the tire.
  2. Lubricate Beads: Apply tire lubricant to both tire beads.
  3. Break Beads: Position the wheel on the bead breaker arm. Use the bead breaker pedal to push the tire bead away from the rim. Repeat for both sides of the tire.
  4. Clamp Gurpila: Place the wheel onto the turntable. Use the clamping pedal to secure the wheel firmly with the jaws. Ensure the wheel is centered. The machine supports outside clamping (12"-22") and inside clamping (14"-24").
  5. Position Mount/Demount Head: Adjust the mount/demount head so it is just above the rim edge and locked into place.
  6. Demount Top Bead: Use a tire lever to pry the top bead over the mount/demount head. Rotate the turntable using the foot pedal to fully demount the top bead. Utilize the double assist arms as needed for stiff sidewalls.
  7. Demount Bottom Bead: Reposition the tire so the bottom bead is accessible. Use the tire lever to lift the bottom bead over the mount/demount head. Rotate the turntable to fully demount the tire from the rim.

5.2 Tire Installation (Mounting)

  1. Lubricate Beads: Apply tire lubricant to both beads of the new tire.
  2. Mount Bottom Bead: Place the bottom bead of the tire onto the rim, positioning it under the mount/demount head. Rotate the turntable to guide the bottom bead onto the rim.
  3. Mount Top Bead: Position the top bead of the tire over the mount/demount head. Use the double assist arms to hold the tire down and guide the bead onto the rim while rotating the turntable.
