5. Operating Instructions: Carry Positions
The Mabē Monarch carrier offers three ergonomic carry positions:
5.1. Front Carry, Facing In (3+ months, 7-35 lbs)
Position your child facing towards you, ensuring their legs are in the 'M' position with knees higher than their bottom. The carrier panel should support their back from knee to knee. Adjust the headrest for support if your child is sleeping or needs sun protection.

5.2. Front Carry, Facing Out (6+ months)
Once your child has strong head and neck control, they can be carried facing outwards. Ensure their legs are still in the 'M' position and the carrier supports their thighs. Monitor your child for signs of overstimulation.
5.3. Back Carry (6+ months)
For older children with good trunk control, the back carry position can be used. Carefully transfer your child to your back, ensuring they are securely seated in the carrier. Adjust all straps for a snug and comfortable fit.

- Secure any loose straps with the provided elastic loops.

- Discomfort for child: Verify that your child is in the correct ergonomic position ('M' shape for legs) and that the carrier is not too tight or too loose. Check for any fabric bunching that might cause irritation.
- Loose buckles/straps: Always double-check all buckles are securely fastened and straps are tightened before and during use. Utilize the elastic safety loops on buckles for added security.
