2. Attaching Conductive Probes and Silicone Caps

Select the appropriate length of conductive probes (long for dogs with thick fur, short for dogs with short fur) and screw them securely into the receiver. For added comfort and to dull the static sensation, you can place the provided silicone caps over the metal probes.

Proper fit is crucial for the effectiveness and safety of the training collar. The collar strap is adjustable from 8 to 26 inches, suitable for dogs weighing 8 to 140 lbs. Ensure the collar is snug enough for the probes to make contact with the skin, but loose enough to insert one finger or your thumb between the strap and your dog's neck. If your dog has thick fur, use a comb to part the fur beneath the probes to ensure direct skin contact.

4. Pairing Remote and Receiver

To pair the remote control with the receiver collars:

1. Turn on the remote control and select the desired channel (1 or 2).
2. Long press the power button on the receiver collar until it beeps and the green light flashes continuously.
3. Within 10 seconds, press any function button (Beep, Vibration, or Shock) on the remote control.
4. The receiver will beep again, and the green light will stop flashing, indicating successful pairing.

3. Training Modes

The SLOPEHILL D17T offers 5 humane training modes:

• Beep Mode (1-8 Levels): Delivers an audible tone. Press the mode gear adjustment knob to select beep mode, then rotate to adjust the tone level.
• Vibration Mode (1-8 Levels): Delivers a tactile vibration. Press the mode gear adjustment knob to select vibration mode, then rotate to adjust the intensity level.
• Safe Shock Mode (0-99 Levels): Delivers static stimulation. Press the mode gear adjustment knob to select shock mode, then rotate to adjust the intensity level. Always start at the lowest effective level.
• Flash Light Mode (2 Modes): Provides a solid white light or flashing lights on the receiver collar. Short press the flashlight button for solid light, long press for flashing.
• No Shock Mode: This mode disables the static shock function, allowing only beep and vibration modes to be used. Activate this using the physical switch at the bottom of the remote.

4. Testing the Electric Shock Function

To ensure the static shock function is working correctly, use the provided test light tool:

1. Connect the test light to the receiver's two electric shock pins.
2. Ensure the remote's shock status switch is NOT in the 'Locked' position.
3. Push the remote control's electric shock button (ensure the intensity level is more than 0).
4. The test red light will illuminate, indicating the shock function is active.
