1. Sarrera

The Protmex PTH-24D is a versatile 3-in-1 plug-in carbon monoxide (CO) detector designed to monitor air quality in your environment. It provides real-time readings for carbon monoxide concentration, ambient temperature, and humidity levels. Its plug-and-play design allows for easy installation in any standard electrical outlet, making it suitable for various indoor settings.

This device features a large, colorful display for clear readability and incorporates an audible alarm system with visual warnings to alert users to potentially dangerous CO levels. The unit is constructed with flame-retardant ABS plastic for enhanced safety.

3. Konfigurazioa eta instalazioa

1. Deskargatzea: Carefully remove the Protmex PTH-24D detector from its packaging.
2. Plug Selection (if applicable): The device features a replaceable plug. Ensure the correct plug type for your region (100-220V, 50/60Hz) is securely attached. To change the plug, press the quick-release button and rotate to unlock.
3. Lekua: Select a suitable location for the detector. It is recommended to place the detector in areas where carbon monoxide may accumulate, such as near fuel-burning appliances (furnaces, water heaters, fireplaces), in bedrooms, living areas, or in RVs. Avoid placing it directly above heat sources, in direct sunlight, or in areas with high humidity or airflow that could affect readings.
4. Piztu: Plug the detector directly into a standard electrical outlet (100-220V). The device will power on automatically and begin its calibration sequence.
5. Hasierako Kalibrazioa: Upon first power-up or after a reset, the device will calibrate itself. This may take a few minutes. During this time, the display may show varying readings before settling to stable environmental values.

4. Funtzionamendu-argibideak

4.1 Display Readings

The HD 2.0-inch IPS display shows the following information:

• CO PPM: Real-time Carbon Monoxide concentration in parts per million (PPM).
• Tenperatura: Ambient temperature, switchable between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).

• Alerta-ikonoak: Visual indicators for CO levels (Green: Safe, Yellow: Warning, Orange: Exceeded, Red: Alarm).

4.2 Botoien funtzioak

The device features three control buttons on the front panel:

• "U" Button:
  • Short Press: Initiates a self-test.
  • Long Press: Toggles temperature unit between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C).
• Buzzer Button (Bell Icon):
  • Short Press: Toggles alarm sound On/Off.
  • Long Press: Flips the screen display 180 degrees for inverted outlets.
• Screen Brightness Button (Light Bulb Icon):
  • Short Press: Adjusts screen brightness levels.

4.3 Alarmaren funtzionaltasuna

The detector is equipped with an upgraded alarm function:

• When CO concentration exceeds 50 PPM, the screen will display a yellow icon warning.
• The device will emit an audible alarm sound of more than 85dB.
• The breathing light will flash to provide a visual alert.
• The device continuously monitors CO levels for 24 hours, even if the screen or breathing light is turned off to save energy (when CO levels are below 150 PPM).

7. Mantentzea

• Garbiketa: Gently wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or detergents, as these may damage the casing edo barne osagaiak.
