Most Claber timers, such as the Aquauno and Rain Sensor BT, require 9V alkaline (6LR61) or 1.5V AA (LR6) alkaline batteries. Rechargeable batteries are generally not recommended due to lower voltage.
At the end of the watering season, before winter frosts, disconnect the timer from the tap, remove the batteries, and store the unit in a dry, sheltered place where the temperature does not fall below 3°C.
A grey Bluetooth icon indicates that the timer cannot be reached. It may not have enough light to charge, the batteries may be dead, or the smartphone is out of range (more than 10 meters away).
Check that the tap is open, the batteries are fresh (or the solar panel is charged), the automatic watering function is set to ON, and no rain sensor is actively blocking the cycle due to rainfall.
To stop or reset a cycle, turn the selector knob or press the button to the 'OFF' position. This cancels the previous programming, allowing you to set a new schedule.
