Enable Bluetooth on your device, ensure the Kastle reader is in pairing mode (the LED will typically blink blue or yellow), and select the reader in your device's Bluetooth settings. Once paired, the LED will turn solid green.
A green LED indicates access granted or successful pairing. A red LED means access denied or an invalid card. A yellow or blinking blue LED indicates the reader is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
Most Kastle KR-series readers can be powered via a standard DC 12V power supply or through POE (Power over Ethernet) if connected to a compatible network switch.
