4. Funtzionamendu-argibideak
4.1 Piztu/Itzali
- Sakatu Boterea button (located on the left side of the meter's control panel) to turn the meter on.
- Eduki sakatuta Boterea button for approximately 3 seconds to turn the meter off.
4.2 Kalibrazioa
Regular calibration is essential for accurate pH measurements. It is recommended to calibrate the meter before each use or at least daily.
- Prepare fresh pH 4.00, pH 7.00, and pH 10.01 buffer solutions.
- Rinse the electrode thoroughly with distilled water and blot dry with a lint-free tissue.
- Immerse the electrode into the pH 7.00 buffer solution. Ensure the spear tip is fully submerged.
- Sakatu CAL button. The meter will automatically recognize the buffer and begin calibration. Wait for the stable icon to appear.
- Once the first point is calibrated, rinse the electrode and immerse it into the pH 4.00 buffer solution. Press CAL berriz.
- Repeat the process for pH 10.01 buffer solution if a three-point calibration is desired.
- After successful calibration, the meter will display the calibration results and return to measurement mode.
4.3 pH-aren neurketa
- Ziurtatu neurgailua kalibratuta dagoela.
- Garbitu elektrodoa ur destilatuarekin eta lehortu.
- Insert the spear electrode directly into the sample (e.g., food, dairy product). Ensure the spear tip is fully immersed and in good contact with the sample.
- Nahastu astiro-astiroamphomogeneotasuna bermatzeko eta irakurketa egonkortzeko aukera emateko.
- Once the stable icon appears on the display, record the pH and temperature readings.
- After measurement, rinse the electrode thoroughly with distilled water and store it properly.

5. Mantentzea
5.1 Elektrodoen garbiketa
- After each measurement, rinse the electrode thoroughly with distilled or deionized water.
- If the electrode becomes contaminated with oil, grease, or protein residues (common in food samples), clean it with a mild detergent solution or a specialized electrode cleaning solution.
- Rinse again with distilled water after cleaning.
5.2 Elektrodoen biltegiratzea
- Always store the electrode with its protective cap filled with electrode storage solution (or pH 4.00 buffer solution if storage solution is unavailable). Never store the electrode dry or in distilled water.
- Ensure the storage solution level covers the spear tip.
- For long-term storage, ensure the electrode is clean and the storage solution is fresh.
5.3 Meter Care
- Keep the meter clean and dry. Wipe the exterior with a damp oihala behar izanez gero.
- Avoid exposing the meter to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or corrosive environments.
- Ensure the battery compartment is sealed to maintain the IP57 waterproof rating.
